Our history

Bianca Starke and Oliver Meyer are the founders of Juwelle. You have been since 2013 entrepreneurial as a team. At that time with the company PARUG GmbH, which was successfully operated as a season business on the basis of legal decisions.

Bianca studied sports economics, was in the Mobilty Team at BMW and has worked successfully for many years as an IT product manager in the healthcare sector. The perfect product for you, however, has to shine and sparkle. Because Bianca has had a high affinity for jewelry since she was a child. She can perfectly combine this passion with her work through Juwelle. Oliver has been since the age of 8 Several years of successful entrepreneurship and thus steadily developed his instinct for successful business models. In the course of his entrepreneurial career, Oliver largely took on the conception and development of Internet platforms with the associated interfaces and CRM system. His specialty and challenge is the digitization of niches that have not yet been digitized.

2015

Oliver founded the company fruittune, about which Apple fans can gold-plate the Apple Watch made of stainless steel. Background was, that apple 2015 launched the Apple Watch, also the variant made of solid gold 11.500 Euro. At this price, the golden Apple Watch was only affordable for a few. With fruittune, a golden Apple Watch is available for a price of approx. 1.000 Euro possible. The company name fruit tune relates to the idea, the English words fruit (Fruit like apple "Apple") and tune like tuning (Pimping up = gilding) connect to.

2016

Bianca joined fruittune and expanded fruittune to include the gold plating service for jewelry and watches for private customers. In an online shop, gold lovers can order the gilding of their own piece of jewelry in gold or rose gold. Customers can use your jewelry, Have your watch or Apple Watch picked up from the comfort of your home with a jewelry shipping service. This means that the jewelry is in good hands and adequately insured.

2017

fruittune also offered its gold plating service for smaller jewelry labels and jewelry stores. The gold plating service for private customers was offered separately on the new juwelle.de website. fruittune.de since then has been aimed exclusively at business customers.

2018

fruittune has already gold plated tens of thousands of pieces of jewelry and watches. One thing caught my eye - engraved pieces of jewelery were always very simply engraved with a few characters and simple motifs. Bianca and Oliver wanted to change that. Oliver developed within 3 Months an innovative pattern gold plating, which combines the technique of engraving with gilding. Simple to complex motifs can be artfully applied to jewelry. With this new process, Bianca and Oliver initially wanted to design their own line of jewelry. But they quickly got to the point, that the design of jewelry is easier for others. With Oliver's IT technical experience and Bianca's product technical know-how, you developed based on known print-on-demand platforms Mania.Design, the first Print-on-demand platform for jewelry.

The End 2018 Mania.Design went online with engraved chains. In a few weeks they already contacted us 100 Designer an, who offer your designs on engraved tags. The first 3D engraving jewelry configurator was developed for Mania.Design, in order to bring the high number of submitted designs on jewelry to the respective shops on Mania.Design on Mania.Design.

2019

Juwelle.de has been expanded to include engraving, Manufacture and repair of jewelry. The Juwelle jewelry service was born. In cooperation with jewelers and goldsmiths, Juwelle can implement almost every customer request.

2020

fruittune continues to expand its jewelery service. Customers can now hire a Juwelle partner on site to bring their personal jewelry over and pick it up. Or you can have your jewelry conveniently picked up and delivered from your home as before. This makes it possible for Juwelle, to connect the stationary jeweler and goldsmith with the online inquiries. In addition, jewelers and goldsmiths can offer their jewelry and watches in the shop on Juwelle. This creates a unique online offer, which stands out from the previous range of well-known jewelry online shops. The jewelry can be ordered online or purchased from a nearby store.
