ADFK are the initials of Alexandra da Fonseca-Klein. The name stands for handcrafted jewelry of professional quality. She is a jewelry designer, silver- and goldsmith and has a degree in 3D design. Alexandra works with the finest materials such as 925 sterling silver, Gold, Precious and semi-precious stones, and sometimes the original Murano glass from Venetian Island and other beautiful materials. Her workshop with atelier is located in Sankt Margarethen near the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea. She regularly crafts "custom-made" work and bespoke jewelry to the client's specifications at a fraction of the cost of other jewellers. You can even take an active part in one of their courses and, for example, carve the shape of a ring out of wax, which she then casts in silver and completes together with the course participant. Alexandra says: "I love it, incorporating gems, but there are also a variety of precious semi-precious stones, whose beauty is simply incredible. I was in Lisbon, Portugal born, later moved to Germany and made my choice 5 Years, to live in England. My designs reflect the experiences and influences, I've learned from cultures around the world on my travels. I started with sketches, Designing clothes and handicrafts as a little girl. I painted oil and acrylic paintings and studied design in Hamburg. At the same time, you couldn't get me away from mineral shops and exhibitions. The sometimes extreme beauty of semi-precious stones never let me go and I wanted to create and wear them as jewelry. For the love of art I have been making jewelry since 20 Years. I am happy, if I can make something very special for someone. Because every person is special - unique jewelry as a counterpart to the mass production of some other brands. Each piece of jewelry is an expression of me and like a reflection of nature as inspiration. I only use real materials. Of earthy corals, maritime shells to elegant pearls, mysterious crystals, glamorous gems, precious semi-precious stones, 925he silver and gold. My style is elegant, female, noble and modern. My works are deliberately affordable, because I want, that you can afford it, to come back and own more different items and for yourself or your loved ones, to have the right jewelery to match an outfit or complexion.
