Renew cord

Dear Team,

I just picked up the bracelet from the repair shop last week and it broke today. The thread was renewed there, unfortunately in an even less robust than the predecessor, although I had asked if you could not take something that is stronger. Is it possible to change the thread to a thread that is more robust than the yarn or is that not possible with the bracelet?
I know it's more like "cheap costume jewelry"., but the bracelet has great sentimental value to me.
