Shorten and change a real silver chain, that the lock does not slide forward

Hello dear team,

For Christmas my friend gave me a beautiful, real, very filigree silver chain with a small diamond pendant. There are two things now, that I would like to change:

1. Thereby, that the pendant with the diamond is lighter than the clasp, the fastener also keeps sliding forward, which doesn't look so nice. Do you know a solution for this? Or. can you possibly. replace the closure with a lighter one or replace the trailer e.g.. fix it to the chain and it becomes heavier, so that only the trailer can be seen in front?

2. I would like to have them shortened a little too.
